I genuinely felt JA was quite good in the 2nd trial hey. I watched him very closely. He cleaned up a lot of scraps and was tenacious. Hit the ball sweeter when kicking. I'm not suggesting he should be in the NRL but he looked improved.

yeah I agree but the game was only a trial and it was all but over. He should be plying his trade in reserves.

Friday nights are better.

Thursday are a pain especially if we lose as it wrecks the whole weekend.

I don't think strider is talking about $$$'s for the club, he means $$$'s for channel 9. Free to air TV need advertising dollars, having high-rating teams like parra on more often on Thursday and Friday nights is attractive for advertiser's and maximises their return. It's why the Broncos get so many Friday night games. They've basically been a 1 team town historically so channel 9 know it's likely going to draw all Brisbane league fans to watch channel 9 on Friday nights....
