f**k me. Hodgson's simply not built for 80mins a game, for 25 rounds, and with no acceptable dummy half (attack) or middle (defence) back-up in the 30 man squad.

But so long as BA gets a "good" 80mins out of him in the first five rounds before he inevitably breaks down through injury and fatigue, then all good hey? Heaven forbid some criticism of any authority figure be discussed that they might have slipped up in squad composition, selection or strategy.

Flegg is under 21s now. The best 21 year olds should be paying reserve grade or first grade, as is the case with Penisini, Russell, Arthur, Mataele, Loizou and Komolafe. All these increased ages of junior rep comps due to Covid has made Flegg a bit of a dead zone. When I was a kid Flegg was under 19s. Now that's the age group for SG Ball.

My earliest recollection is
Matts was U15
Ball was U16
Flegg was U18
Presidents Cup U21
3rds, 2nds and 1sts no age limit.

Tommy T wasn't playing and Rueben Garrick was playing fullback with a hip in need of replacing.... How else did Gutherson "outpace" him that night? Not to mention their playing group was completely fractured after the pride fiasco....

I will not be surprised if they put 50 on us next week. They're a better attacking team than the Sharks who just clocked up 30 against us....

The Panthers lost at home to the Broncos missing Walsh. It means nothing because it's only one game. Kennedy, Moylan and Trindall all stepped up well.

They might also be in decline. But they just won 2 x grand finals. Made a 3rd and won all 4 grades last year. They've done well.
