Just need a smaller cap
Why was his injury described as season-ending, with talk of requesting cap compensation, if it was only two weeks?

LUCKLESS EELS ROOKIE SUFFERS ANOTHER SETBACK
Sean Russell has reportedly suffered a shoulder injury and will not play again this season.
Wacko’s Whispers reported on Friday that the Eels winger will need surgery on the injury.
Russell was initially named in the 17 on Tuesday to face the Sharks, but was cut from the squad to make way for Bailey Simonsson, who made his return from a shoulder injury.
The 20-year-old did not, however, drop back to play New South Wales Cup.
The club is yet to confirm the injury, but it would be a cruel blow for Russell, who has had an unlucky run of injuries — including a fractured rib and punctured lung last season.
Literally says the club has not confirmed. I'd go with @emjaycee over those dimwits on twitter anyday.Has anyone at the club confirmed it at all or is Wackos whispers now the go to?
Manly made a prelim final, a grand final and a semi final (week 2) in the 3 years after Hasler left the first time. So he may have f**ked the dogs cap (or it could have been other factors, none of us know for sure) but Manlys cap wasn’t that bad.
Not sure how Hasler f’ed the manly cap the first time when they won two comps.
anyone who doesn’t believe our cap is f^*ked has rocks in their had. We can’t even field 17 first graders.
On a side note, what time does school finish in the NB?
Tough love from BA.Was touch and go apparently... he was v. close according to my mail.
The article doesn't make sense. It talks about a grand final eels star, and then talks about Waqa Blake. I'm confused.Thank f**k for that!
Our reserves won 13 games last year. Theirs won 2. It’s not even comparable.Probably similar to ours. Has BA f**ked our cap or is that just what we blame Hasler for?

Exactly. It’s got f**k all to do with the coach, except at maybe the poorest clubs. All BAs doing he is a CAP management God!
(Sarcasm for the people that don't get it...)
Nope. This place is an absolute downer. They take the piss out of TCT for being overly optimistic and this place is the depressing polar opposite.Asking for a friend
Is there anyone posting on this forum actually like anything the Club is doing?

I find this forum mostly has balance. A bit like Goldilocks's comparison adventure.Nope. This place is an absolute downer. They take the piss out of TCT for being overly optimistic and this place is the depressing polar opposite.
Yep those back ended deals were a master stroke for the coaches that followed him Wish our club tried that... Again..
We only play with 16 that's the plan
FFS The whole discussion has been about the situation of the club AFTER Hasler left, ie this year. Our reserves won 13 games last year. Theirs won 2. It’s not even comparable.
