Hands had how many off seasons to show what he’s capable of? Penrith let him go for Mitch Kenny ffs. Don’t pretend he’s always been a gun. He is not in the 500 highest paid players in the game.

Why are people convinced HANDS is the answer and am Nrl player of the future?
The sample size is to small. In 6 weeks time we may not see him in the NRL again.
What we do know is he is a large body and has excellent tackle technique and his passing is ok.
To be a good NRL hooker he will need to show he can create TAs,LBAs and run meters.
He looks to have the basics but I need to see what creativity he has in his game.

Hodgson played well in rnd 1. But let's be honest. If we had Reed we are 4/5 right now.
Hodgsons leaked points and made poor decisions in very close games.

As I said before a ball was kicked off we need Waqa to fire. I thought he would to try and earn a contract. He hasn't
We need Hodgson to fire. He still may but doesn't look good.
We needed N.Brown to get some form. He is gone and not yet replaced.


So right now we are exactly where I'd expect considering these guys didn't do what I had hoped. The silver lining is Russel/Haze/Hands/Grieg are getting a chance now. Let's hope they shine.

I don't think we will if we are remotely up for it, but it would be the most Parramatta thing to drop it, so I am worried.

A better question might be to ask who is supremely confident that we win this game?

BA is not a motivator and my worry is that the players and coaching staff don't appreciate the desperate stakes of this game, given our start to the season...
