Because their current nutritional circumstances have changed dramatically which has affected the traditional body type that you're referring to. They do less hunting and fishing and the foods that they’re exposed to are high in calories, fat and carbohydrates. As a result, there’s a high rate of obesity and the traditional body type that you're referring to is becoming less common.Given that the argument was the body type of the average indigenous athlete, what does the obesity of the wider population have to do with that?
Incorrect. Rightly or wrongly many NRL forwards would factor in obesity statistics purely because of their body mass, which was my original point...that the size of Indigenous Australians doesnt preclude them from making it as NRL forwards. The players I rattled off last night supports my argument.Surely they are far less likely to factor in the obesity statistics, therefore nullifying the point?
Let's not.Lets just accept is was a poorly thought out piece of evidence.
And also accept that hookers are just failed halves....
