Tbh the whole discussion got sidetracked with the racist rubbish. It was kicked off by someone saying the equivalent of "African men are better than most at sprinting". Well, yeah, genes are real, and they make people different. Admitting that won't open Pandora's box.

100% correct. We are all the same species, but there are differences that make races unique. That shit should be celebrated, not thought of as offensive. How can genetics be offensive? It's just the way someone is....

Honestly white people in general are the ultimate genetic mongrels and I think that sometimes people get offended at the idea that someone is genetically predisposed to be better at something than they are. ESPECIALLY middle aged white folks who have been putting other races down a lot of their lives (knowingly or unknowingly)
