Two runs and a kick is trying too hard?Last night he went back to trying too hard in attack.

Short kicks behind early on can slow the edge defenders, give them something to think about. Gutho and co. won’t get much done with merkins up in his face as soon as he catches the ball.Yes the kick was overlaying his hand early in the game.
Against Souffs simple pass to the Halves and Gutho to attack

I understand you know more about the game than Josh Hodgson, but I’d say he also knows a bit about how to set up a win.
Arthur knew well how much better the Cowboys controlled the ball than did Souths last week. Hodgson was only required to make 24 tackles in 54 minutes last week. Last night he made almost as many (21) in 31 minutes. An excellent work rate over that span. He deserved a rest. Was shit last night and got hooked earlier than the week before.
I'd say BA knows a bit more about how to reduce f**k-ups when he sees a player in a key position is off his game compared to the previous week.
The kick was fine. There’s always a chance some merkin will stick his foot out. What we should have done was recover it for a set restart.Cool maybe if that's the plan give it to our halves to put those kicks in as he hasn't had much luck with his kicks this season.
Or even Greig as he probably isn't as shit at putting in kicks at the moment..
But hey what does everyone bar you and maybe BA know

I think there’s a solid reason why Hodgo starts against fresh the forwards and stays in the fight until well after the first bunch of interchanges.I think Hodgson 30, Hands 50 is the right mix going forward. Maybe in time it becomes Hands 30, Hodgo 20-25, Hands 25-30 but then you’re burning 2 interchanges.
Get rid of bye points.Crazy to think at the end of this rounds it’s likely that the ladder will show
Penrith - 1st - 7 wins
Broncos - 3rd - 9 wins
Parra - 13th - 6 wins
Closest comp in history?
Also…
bye points and timings are stupid. No team should have 2 byes before another even gets 1.
And we have to wait the entire season to catch up to everyone else’s free pointsGet rid of bye points.
Do we really need them especially when there is 3.
No other sports hand out bye points.
