So I was thinking another reserve grader but I did some research on Staines
The kid has some serious speed and footwork. Put on some freakish moves that even freaked the ref out.
Not small, approx 6'2 and will be over 90kg with a good preseason.
He has had hamstring problems coming into 1st grade but has done extra work to get that sorted.
We are really shallow on outside backs.
Dunster hasn't played for weeks and may never fully recover.
He has been out for weeks and still recovering from bowel surgery. He was one a one year deal. Has been surpassed by Bula ant Tupou.
His career is at a crossroads so we could get him cheap.
We have to fill the roster.
He played a full half with a busted bowel FFS.

Sivo and Russell can both carry the ball. The fact they don't is partly due to having so many others willing/able to carry the ball. With a fullback taking fewer carries than Gutherson we would get more out of the likes of Sivo and Penisini. Souths are near the top of the table and their fullback doesn't run much, and they have Johnston on one wing and a cast of thousands on the other.
