It's a great analogy. If you need bread and milk at the supermarket you just go and grab it, and pay what it's worth. No salary caps, no bidding wars. The groceries aren't weighing up your offer based on the salary and their preferred location and their career goals. They're not weighing up other offers from competing shoppers who can offer them investment opportunities and jobs for family members. Merkins seem to think player recruitment is devoid of all this bullshit. tHeRe WaS aN oUtSiDe BaCk aVaIlAbLe in ApRiL fFs!!! wE sHoUlD'vE jUsT bOuGhT hIm!!!!
Milk though is interesting product.

Like, is Dairy Farmers, Norco, or any other brand milk really significantly more different in quality to Coles or Woolworths milk? Is it really worth any more, and why do people pay more for it?

Basic full cream milk is basically full cream milk.

I once knew of four guys who reportedly broke into a dairy, and used the automatic milking machine to pleasure themselves. Not sure what brand was involved, but hopefully the pasteurisation process took care of things before consumption.

I think they were good decisions.
You could save everyone a LOT of time and not to mention wear and tear on your keyboard if you just paste the above and nothing else from now on when debating the pros and cons of everything Parramatta RLFC related.... If anything, you could probably add "Whatever happens, Parra did the right thing" to ram the message home... But beyond that, everything is superfluous....

Because Parra paid overs for a Winger like Sivo thinking he was the next Radradra.
Lol you really are a dopey jizzmop, if we really thought he was the next Semi we’d be paying Sivo almost a 1 million bucks a season. That’s how good semi was, Sivo isn’t fit to do up his bootlaces if he stayed in RL he would probably go down as arguably greatest winger ever. Scary to think what he could of done in the sides we had the last few years.

You literally said no bidding war over the Last loaf of bread. Last loaf would imply a shortage of supply.....no? They are not bidding on shelves stocked with bread, literally the last loaf......adn you merkins did engage in a bidding war for the last loaf for months.
Your attention span doesnt seem to last more than a couple of sentences. He is literally saying NRL recruitment does have bidding wars, buying a loaf of bread doesnt. ie they are different.

So Salmon now becomes a Weak Gutted Bulldog Person from next year.
I thought Ricky and Gus were besties?
If I'm not mistaken, Flanagan, Salmon and Xerri all played in the same junior rep sides as Gus' young bloke

I think Sticky would think the Dogs are the most appropriate side for him.

No they literally compare demand to meet supply. Literally the price depends on demand v supply.

when supply is scarce in a supermarket in high demand the price goes up. Same reason you guys had to pay more for longer for Moses

If there were three loaves of bread available throughout NSW. What would happen to the price?
