JT seemed like a super coach when he started. I remember when our 2006 side was down and out and he took us to the finals after winning 9 in a row. We could have easily beaten Melbourne that year as well if not for some suspect refereeing where Morrison was denied what looked like a try to level the game. He followed it up next season by taking Souths to their first finals series since they were reinstated.
I don’t think he ever recovered from the incident where he as punched in the face by Faalogo.

What could have been if we had kept him..

I was in favour of him instead of Hagen

My grandson has a bit of history being trained by JT, he’s not impressed ,interesting to see if he will be successful - have doubts.

The Roosters won with him as assistant coach.
So, at the very least we know that a team can win with him on the books.

Hope he fails miserably though.

BA has his criticism and I have said for 3 years he should go.

But I don't think JT would have dragged us from where we were in 2013 after Ricky and got us competitive as quick as BA did.

JT probably wouldn't have been given a decade either mind you.

Agree BA stubbornness was why we have slowly been built up he knows it takes time.

He doesn't seem like a 'player's coach' or a good man manager. Players seem to get the shits with him. Happened at Souths and at the Tigers.

If they have any sense then Parra, Canterbury, Souths, Dragons will all play in Campbelltown next season (if Wests have a home game against those teams).

They need to get as many fans out there as they can. Those teams have a lot of supporters in that area.

Didn't watch one minute of the dally ms. It's become a farce and I'm all for the nrlw as well but really??? It sort of takes over the nrl recognition who slaved for 3/4 of a yr instead of 10-12 weeks in total for the nrlw.
Should be separate nights...
Actually refreshing I didn't resort to some of the utter BS of years gone by where players have won awards and it's been an absolute head scratcher...seems it may have been the same this year. Don't know Didn't watch and don't care..
Nrl is more than ever a business...
I do watch most games a week but very rarely watch the footy shows, nrl 360 etc...dribblers of the highest order

Yeah I have also noticed I watch alot of footy but barely watch the footy shows anymore.. They get the same players on all the time there is 500+ players in the NRL not just the same idiots to interview or talk about..

All written into the player contracts to get more $$$...hence why sometimes a player is playing rep footy and you go WTF???
There are a number of examples where players have come from the clouds to pull on a rep jersey..

Yeah it's currently worse in the Women's game as well... It's the same women on Fox and 9..

Can't wait till all of Anastas players are on Foxtel...
