Tui has 3 year left in the under 20's. He only turns 18 this year (which means he's still eligible for SG ball). He's also been man of the match for NSW in both representative games he's played for them. Huge talent for us. It's a shame RLW47 doesn't know about him. Obviously there hasn't been a write up on young Tui in one of his magazines yet. No doubt when there is and he mentions his name he'll be the one to take all of the congrats about discovering him.

Do tries and line-breaks have to be involved? Couldn't a playmaker simply create attacking plays (on a regular basis) without them leading to either tries or line-breaks? Or, as Garry Gutful said, a playmaker could be an organiser of the team's attack and therefore, in a sense, direct the team around the park. I think defining 'playmaker' is like defining 'love' - everybody thinks they know what it means, but .......

Now that Bigfella has stopped posting I can agree with this without copping a pasting (although some smart arse will probably do this now that I have written this).

Putting it into perspective though, he did have to point out that a playmaker probably has to make some plays to be considered a playmaker. Why was anyone ever trying to question this?

Four years for Mullen seems harsh, particularly if he was just trying to treat a chronic injury in the off season. I thought the standard penalty was two years for use of PEDs? Unless you're trafficking or something.

Anyway, why can't players treat injuries with legal substances during the off-season as long as they get no performance enhancing benefit during the season?

I have absolutely no doubt some players get on the growth hormone or some kind of illegal course to aid muscle growth and recovery in the off season.
There seems to me more emphasis on testing in off season though these days. The fact Barba got tested 8 days after the GF is a farce! Not too many professions are interrupted on holidays by a drug tester at the front door.
