Not a shit team. We made the Grand final last year. Penisni I rate. But I also don't think he is in the top 10 centres in the game yet. He will be in future.
Crightons the best centre in the game right now. I'm also a huge Herbie fan. Would ofmloved to of signed him.

I fell in love with Herbie the first time I lay eyes on him. For mine he is the best in the league right now. But Crichton is just as good really.

But if we want to be pedantic and pick the best possible combination if every player is fit and available for selection of an all stars team of today.

Latrell and Turbo would be the best to centres and a toss up between Walsh and Ponga at fullback. But only if all players are fit and at their best.

I have omitted Teddy, because I think we can all say his best days are probably behind him now. Turbo maybe getting to that point now too, but I will give him then benefit of the doubt till next year. If he doesn't come good and recapture his best form again then he too will be consigned to the Teddy group.

Btw hasn't Mal Meninga devalued the Kangaroos jersey by picking Valentine Holmes.

He should give himself an uppercut - there is no way Holmes should be playing for Australia this off season after his video incident. Even if there short on centres putting on the Kanagroos jersey should be an honour & prestige. And in my book Val tossed that away the moment he decided to do a stupid video.

I disagree.
Penisini is not given opportunities in space. He has to create them himself, due to our lack organisation and poor application of our plays.
Creighton on the other hand is provided with space and opportunity from better game plans and initiation of attacking moves, and more often than not, better execution of such moves.
Replace Crieghton with Penisini at the Panthers and he'd be just as good, if not better.

Yes and no. Where Penisini has the edge is strength and power, but it is somewhat cancelled out with Crichton's superior speed and agility. So we are splitting hairs really. Both players are exceptional and in quality teams will thrive. One plays in a consistently good team so gets many more opportunities to shine. While the other has to work much harder for his highlights real. Neither are way better than the other. Just different styles. They would make a hell of a good combination if they were ever to play together though. Both great young players.

We also don’t sign big names because we don’t have Politis or Gould and the people in charge now are doing a great job and have possibly over achieved as we are the Fulham of the NRL.

The open market generally tells us better then most other barometers who the best players are.

Haha well being a Fulham fan myself i certainly expect less from them & are just happy to see them survive in the EPL compared to Parramatta where we should be regular finalists and competing for titles.
