Hagan won a premiership in his first year. So did Ricky Stuart. But doing it 9 years less. Did BA get the team to 4th in his first year? Second year even?

If he didn't want to move to the UK why not?Do you think he signed to play reserve grade? He had offers from Super League. You think he took a pay cut and turned his back on a top grade spot in Super League to go and play reserve grade??
It's not that he would only play at Wenty, it's that he wouldn't be in our top 17.I was going to say the same thing no way he joins us just to play at Wenty
Just like us they had availability issues. In 2022 they had 14 players appear in 20+ games (not including finals). This year it was only 10 players.I think you will find that the Cowboys had a season like us where they just kind of thought it would happen for them and it didn't.
134 wins isn't nothing. Before Arthur's came to the club it took us more than 12 years to win that many games.
Stability doesn't mean you get to ignore the salary cap. The only things that do are payments/perks outside the cap, and heavy, prolonged junior investment.BA has had a looonngg time to build a successful well functioning football program. Has he??? The situation in the outside backs shouldn't be happening with a program that has been as stable as ours.

They haven't deteriorated, they are just a lower priority in our team than other positions. Much like how the Storm structures their cap.Who said anything about ignoring the cap??? It's about having a well run program that doesn't allow position groups to complete deteriorate and have some sort of planning/squad managment.

Agree, skilled player.FBrown is going to the UK we should have gone after him...
Are we talking about Nu Brown here? Half decent but I wouldn't lose sleep over him going to the UK. He's been at 4 or 5 clubs since 2017 from memory and had ample opportunity to establish himself at any one of them but inevitably finds himself looking for a new home.... There's a reason for that.Agree, skilled player.

He’s bog average and injury prone. No thanks. Are we talking about Nu Brown here? Half decent but I wouldn't lose sleep over him going to the UK. Injury prone yes. Bog average definitely not. He’s bog average and injury prone. No thanks.
I'm saying recruitment and retention are part of a club wide strategy. As the head coach, Arthur's would have a role in developing that strategy. Are you implying there Is a broader philosophical approach to what BA Is trying to achieve???
Except for when you have previously been posting to excuse Arthur from any blame for his possible role in recruitment and retention...I'm saying recruitment and retention are part of a club wide strategy. As the head coach, Arthur's would have a role in developing that strategy.
