Disagree. He pushed out our previous first choice 9 in Jacob Liddle and would be starting 9 if it wasnt for Api. I actually think Simpkin is second best behind Api but the club has Tallyn Da Silva earmarked for future greatness and is being prioritised. IMO Simpkin is better than half the 9s running in first grade and IMO its not a strength at Parra.

I agree aslomg as he grows. He is short and a small frame currently. It wouldn't matter how much gym time. If his stature doesn't get bigger I am unsure he'd handle the physical side of NRL. No reason he won't grow another few inches
