I agree. They’re not stronger than they were last season. But again a few teams are like that. Reynolds seems to be running on fumes these days. If he’s gone they’re shot, but you could say that about just about any team losing their halfback.

Also Kurt Capewell, whilst getting on a bit, he is like glue in any forward pack. Thomas Flegler is a huge loss as is Keenan Palasia .

Is he back training? I haven’t seen that. I know he’s committed to boxing at the moment but he won’t last there. All I saw was Carrigan saying it’d be good to have him back.

Big wraps on the kid, smart business on their part being able to keep him long term. I have a mate who knows a fair bit about QLD juniors and rates him very highly.
