It just means better players became available. In the early rounds we had Matterson and Lane unavailable, and Davey hadn't yet joined the club. That's why we were forced to pick a bunch of backups.

U have given me the laugh of 2024...cmon down Andrew Davey...walk up start to our team last year when he couldn't make the dogs pack...davey was poo...
I thought he was terrific in his first stint with the club a few years back but unfortunately regressed big time by the time he came back...
Now we probably know because of concussion issues. Credit to him for giving up Carpentry to fulfil a dream of playing NRL....wish the bloke all the best

He did make the Dogs' pack. He was injured for the early part of the year and after two games in reserve grade he came into the top 17. Then we signed him. Don't listen to bullshitters like James Graham, look at the facts. Facts don't care about James Graham's feelings.

He made the worst pack in the comp... No wonder we were so keen to get him back... He was a turd in a need of some polishing....

We were legit hoping to catch lightning in a bottle twice in 3 years.... He exceeded expectations probably 5-fold in his first stint.... We were hoping he could do it again. Instead, he's now fitting kitchens somewhere along the eastern seaboard.... Thanks for your service whoever you are....
