If he’s in the top 30 he’s full time. Same with the supplementary list. They have plenty of free time, so he might be using it to learn a trade, but that’s not the same as having a day job. Top 30 players need to turn up at training (nearly) every day. They are full time athletes.

The club spent a lot of time in the off season trying to find alternate clubs for 3 players to get them off the roster. The names aren’t difficult to work out, unfortunately little or no interest which is not surprising. They stayed as they were on contract and would get paid, that’s the reality of contracts and numbers..

That's because we had a good crop of SG Ball kids come through, not because the backups weren't good enough to be backups when we signed them. We needed them when we signed them. If we don't now it's because of junior development, not because the backups we have were never good enough to be backups. Momoisea, Cini and Taumoepenu have all excelled in reserve grade. Tuivati and Rick Penisini haven't. Prior to last year even Luca Moretti hadn't. That's how we got him to agree to a contract outside the top 30.

Do,you actually watch footy, because pretending the 3 you mention as excelling in reserve grade is a massive overstatement. They were ordinary at best, and mostly making up the numbers, you should stop making opposing statements just to argue.
