In no order but you Rank them....
Tedesco
Edwards
Turbo
Walsh
Papenhauzen
Ponga
Gutherson
The Hammer
Drinkwater

Could play there but don't
Manu
RTS

Was about to demand Bula be included but then started to actually read the list....Some damn good fullbacks in the comp right now. Bula is our best fullback since Teddy and wouldnt make top 8.

Cause your neutral I'd love you to rate them.
Guthersons great. Behind Ponga the best ball player. Defense is top 3. And probably no 1 leader. High ball top 2.
But runner? I think he wouldn't make the top 10 list an wouldd fall to the bottom 3 in the NRL. And as a fullback this is maybe the thing you want mostly.

Another guy who is impressing me is W.Kennedy

Im sure the whole forum is gagging for my input so here it is....

Tedesco
Turbo
Walsh
Edwards
Ponga
Papenhauzen
Gutherson
The Hammer
Bula
Drinkwater

Sumpthin like that, lots of pluses and minuses and Teddy is getting long in the tooth and probably overrrated here. This list probably overrates attack but that is the modern fullback. FWIW IMO Bula is top 3 for defence. Paps ahead of Guffo is probably based on past performance and its yet to be seen if he returns as good as previously.

EDIT: Ive previously expressed my personal dislike for Guffo, but I can see that he is the kind of effort on effort player that binds a team, this rating above doesnt necessarily express this. This rating is of Guffo vs his contemporaries but his value to Parra is probably above Paps and somewhat equal to Edwards.

Let’s be honest, when the glass is properly cured, Trdgbdhevic is far and away the best fullback.
Tedesco looks like he’s started this season trying to prove a point. I suspect post Origin he’ll be off it again.
Ponga & Walsh aren’t all round perfect but in attack they can put a handful of moments together that break the game their way. Bumbaghuyzen too but the chances of injury bring him down list. Drinkwater is kind of in the same category but his game breaking moments may only occur in a handful of games.
Really Gutho and f**kheadwards are interchangeable. Does anyone think either our or Smugs records over past few years change all that much if these two were swapped?
Hammer & Bula need to show more than one season (or really half seasons) to warrant placing.

I think he’ll be fine. There’ll be a learning curve for sure because likely Brooks & Trenshfjecvic will test him out (DCE will probably kick at him too). But really 2 of the blokes (Breendjebvic & Koula) opposite him aren’t that much older than him

He'll be playing left so up against the right edge of DCE, Olakauatu, Garrick, and Vaega

Are you sure about that?

I am incorrect on the winger, it will be Paulo not Vaega. Although I'm assuming Vaega will directly replace the injured Talau. Other than that I can't see either us or manly swapping our edge players in round 3.

https://www.nrl.com/watch/matches/t...round-2/sea-eagles-v-roosters---round-2-2024/ @2:10 DCE receives the ball on the right, passing to the right to Garrick. This is only a very small sample size but I couldn't be bothered to sit through that game again.

I think Blaize will play right and Will left. I could be wrong but.

Could do. BA does like to work under a least disruption plan but he might move things over for 1 game.
As I said in different thread I think it’ll be damage control for this game, then Sivo & Simonsson return for better or worse next week.
We’re not going to win this game in the centres, but we could lose it there.

Penisini and Russell are forming a good combo. I very much doubt that right side gets changed. I'm worried for Blaize with that massive unit Haumole going to be running straight at him...does anyone suspect a late switch? Dylbro centre and Matto or Carty five eigth?
Going to need to rush him and cut down his time.

It's very exciting...
