Who said he was never going to give him a shot? He might’ve expected him to have re-signed by now.

Picking any teenager is a punt. If they don’t perform they at least get the benefit of some development. But if they’re leaving that upside is out of the equation. Didn’t Bennett famously drop Justin Hodges when he signed with Easts?

We need a game breaker out wide. A barnstorming 2nd rower is something we lack. Id rather him then Lomax tbh. By 2025 Blaize will be closer to ready. We'd only have to find a winger to upgrade on Simmons then.
