Let's be fair, you were wrong about Joe O and how much the tigers paid him to play here. Might be a chance you're.wrong about RCG walking away from a big $ year.

Getting a 3 year deal now, even at slightly lower starting salary, might be decent risk mitigation for him. Might be why his management requested a release?

This rag dolling is a stupid comment. NRL is full of small fullbacks and few get rag dolled but even if do look at the chaos they've created for the defence beforehand. Walsh, Fuller, Paps, Kini, etc I'd love one of those at Eels.

None of those players come even remotely close to the level of rag dolling into the in-goal or into touch that French was in 2018.
