I thought Rudder was underrated tbh. Tough, hard working, old fashioned footy player. Like Daniel Wagon. Wasn't Wags fault Smithy put him at 6 when the only experience he had ever had with passing was when some merkin was doing 60 in front of him on the highway...
Isn't that a bit dangerous to be throwing a football around in a car?

Yeh, I thought Rudder was more than OK. Just not flashy. And his name always made me hum a Lemonheads song every time it was called.

Yep, it just keeps going on and on. It's quite a good footy album....i think it also includes 'It's a Shame about Raaay'.

And we were so bad we used to believe shit like that. I remember when we signed nuffies like Stu Galbraith

Led the club to defeating Great Britain. Led the club to defeat the Premiers at the opening of their home ground in front of 55,000 people. Led the club to a win after being 0-20 down to Newcastle at half time.

Three of our biggest wins since '86.

It's not Stu GODbraith who is the nuffie, Poo...

Yeah, but so did:

Paul Whatuira
Sean Rudder
Ian Lacey
Scott Sattler

Paul and Satts where two very good players.

Sure Benji faded but he was a very good player in his time. And I enjoyed him giving us an attacking brand of footy and winning a comp playing that style rather then the grinders of your cronks. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

That's true.

But by the time we signed former Premiership winner Whatuira, he was a shell of his former self.

He fell on hard times. Depression and spent a lot of time in a clinic trying to sort himself out. SK I think wanted to help him personally and thought bringing him to parra may help. It didn't.

Source ? Or you think that coaches give players jobs cos they feel sorry for them ?

Marshall was a legit superstar at his peak.
