Saint, sinner, shoosh: Parramatta ramp up Jayden Brailey chase, rival targets Ronaldo Mulitalo

The Parramatta Eels have space in their salary cap and a need at number nine – but will the Knights come to the party? That and more in Saint Sinner, Shoosh.
Brent Read and Michael Carayannis

Jayden Brailey is expected to be a target for Parramatta after they cleared up significant salary cap space. It is understood the Eels are considering making a play for the Newcastle hooker for an immediate release, despite the dummy half having 12 months left on his current contract.
The Knights aren’t overly keen to let Brailey walk out the door, but may need to in order to get their salary cap back in shape.
Kiwi hooker Phoenix Crossland is the logical choice to replace Brailey if he does leave.

Josh Addo-Carr working on a building site after Bulldogs sacking as he looks to rebuild NRL career

Currently in limbo, Addo-Carr has been linked with the Dragons, Parramatta and Wests Tigers and is adamant he will not be a liability for his future club.
“Bloody oath I will be in the NRL next year,” he said.
“The love for footy and my hunger for footy is still there.
“It’s disappointing the way things panned out, but I have to cop it on the chin and I need to go back to what’s always worked for me and that’s working hard.
“I know my time in the NRL will come again and when it does I will take it with both hands no matter where I go.”
For all the tumult, Addo-Carr is proven as one of the best wingers of the past 30 years. The ‘Foxx’ has scored 140 tries from 179 games, played for his state and country and is a two-time premiership winner with the Storm.

That's just BS. The Knights tapped Brailey on the shoulder months ago as Peter O'Sullivan is trying to clear out all the players on the roster that don't represent value.
He played well at Cronulla but that was a long time ago and they chose his brother over him.

He played 23 times this year and tackled at 95%. For the right price he would improve our team and reports are he’s a great man to have at your club.

I think skill wise and some physical attributes, he is average, but he has above average awareness and his intensity is second to none in whole comp
He is also fairly quick. He’s not a bad player. You don’t want to give him early ball against a set defensive line. He will get smashed. But if his superior team mates can get him one on one with a weak edge defender he can make a break. Four times in 22 games anyway. He is also good on the kick chase.

On another note with Gutho leaving we will have Joash Papalii as our Fullback for pre season training with Iongi not back until next year with being picked for Tonga..
Brown/Penisini will be on the injury list this pre season plus Moses wont be training till next year.

Kinda sucks when our players need alot of time together under a new coach..

If Dylan walks out next year after we stood by him last year for an incident that quite well have got him sacked and ripped up a close to million dollar contract

Then I will call him a bigger traitor and a bigger turncoat then the cauliflower ears playing dummy half at the Bulldogs.

Really, if he goes he will be doing us a favour. We over paid for that inconsistent TikTok bludger

In reality it's time for him to step up. He's one of those gifted players who just can't set the field alight when trouble comes knocking on our door. He's had many opportunities to make a difference (I'm not talking about his defence). New coach, new team, new everything. It's time to shine or cya later, jack.
