The majority of the Eels' NRL players have joined Jason Ryles' squad for 2025 pre-season training. Dylan Brown, Junior Paulo and J'maine Hopgood were among the returning players, with more to follow suit in the coming weeks.

Dylan brown at number 1 v the Dragons for 10 minutes was some of the worst football I've seen in supporting the club for 25 years.

Iongi from all reports is ready to go....

given time he would have improved, by how much, I guess we'll never know

I saw them at the last BDO on the Gold Coast, they were just going through the motions and didn't really engage with the crowd for mine.

Saw them at the BDO in Sydney and they were still playing when all the lights came on and engaged with the crowd the whole time.

Just further proof you are a dribbler and have NFI.

Started following them in 1999 so was spared the 1998 debacle.

Was a good time tbh we made 3 straight prelim finals and 2001 Grand final along with a amazing year of entertaining footy.

Those first 3 years got me hooked even if I was brain washed and didn't have a choice anyway.

I said to my 7 year old self on the train home from the 2001 GF we will win it next year.

How hard is it we broke every record and we're unstoppable we were hitting 50 most weeks in that back of the year.

Things will just click again and we will be even better next year.

I just can't imagine how this forum would have gone if it was around after the 2001 GF.
