Despite what side of the fence ur on, BA or not a Ryles fan yet, have to say what changes Ryles has made, getting back to the community, hiring speed, more mobile forwards, promoting young kids instead of run down journeymen, creating that sense of competition for spots and delivering an encouraging positive feel good environment, I'd say he has won many people over before a game has even been played.
Ive tried twice to get out to the training sessions, fairfield and granville but conflicting commitments hasn't enabled me to go.
However it all seems very positive and I can't wait to see this new squad with a whole new coaching team next yr.
I'm optimistic we will have a good year and like the fact we have more sat and sun games (obviously due to almost running last and not being on prime time)
In Ryles I/we trust...

Well said community is a big one.

I think for the first time in a long time 95% of Parra fans in the area are finally united and happy with the direction we are heading. We are moving forward in a positive way.

There may be a few bumps down the road with some results but there is light at the end of the tunnel and once 2025 hits the spark and crackle of a new season will get the juices flowing again where everyone can dare to dream again.

12 weeks today to round 1 against the Storm.

Bring it on.

Reading back a few pages on this thread and talk about the size of the pack... You older guys remember when smith went out and bought Craig Stapleton and Corey Pearson cause he needed a bit more size in our forwards? That didn't end well

In all honesty, the team hasn’t felt like the fans team in a long time - Brad had an us against them mentality with media, the club and also with the fans…with the exception of a select few, it genuinely felt like BA resented the fans

the genuine fan engagement and accessibility of the team since that time has probably contributed to the positive outlook

Very true, and that was a reflection of the players, never give a shit about the fans, Gutherson especially kept his distance and others followed suit
