Look 4 yrs ago i asked who people thought be better.Cartwright or tanginoa.

In 5 yrs time lets see where cartwright is. Guys just a kid. He coukd be best forward in nrl.Time will tell .He may flop.I doubt it thou

He won't be a flop. Well, I'd be very surprised if he was. I'd also be very surprised if he's ever an elite player. Skill is only half the equation, he doesn't seem to have the brain or the attitude to ever be elite at this stage. He's gotta do a hell of a lot of work on his defence, his game awareness and his effort if he's ever going to be elite.

Cartwright is a hopeless 5/8. Hard to judge his 2nd half of season as spent most of it there.Plenty of panther fan friends say he should be on bench. He is a hard runner of the ball thou and needs to remember thats his job. The fancy stuff is for close to line and on 4th or 5th. He is 21yld.
Oozes talent big and strong and wish we had him.He will learn. At 6'3 & 106kgs with ability to keep ball alive.
Mateo had the world at his feet. But lazy.Thats the difference.Mateo should of gone further.Wasted talent
He a hopeless give eight cause he a back-rower

bahahahaha u showin how poor a judge u are again. No idea.

Cartwright is 8th IN THE WHOLE NRL for missed tackles. He misses 15 out of every 100 tackles he attempts. And that's not even counting the times he doesn't get a finger on someone because he's so completely stood up. There's no doubt he has talent, but his effort and his attitude are really poor and there's really no arguing that.

Come back when you finish school and maybe you'll understand what we're talking about, ok kiddo?

So the fact that's he's quite obviously an awful defender isn't something you think is relevant? Right. I wish you were coaching first grade when I was around, I might have got a shot.....

Do you understand the stats come from events that happen during each game? And not just the headline items that stick in your memory, but an aggregate of all the little incidents that miss your attention.

No one doubts his attacking prowress. In that regard he'll be a superstar in the media and fan's eyes. But his defence is just too bad atm for him to be considered an elite NRL forward when it comes down to it.

Another good squad player. I'd make him an edge forward.

I'm thinking prop. His speed and power would be awesome in the middle. He's also big so it may be easier for him to defend in the middle where he only has to make contact rather than make harder decisions out wide.

Still, he would be smallish for a middle forward, and not hard working enough to pay his way.
