Seen the tigers squad Stagger - why? Brooks back you mean?
Take it with a grain of salt, but Kent said on 360 tonight that Brooks is a 0% chance of playing this week
Seriously, if you're the Tigers and you're not sure Brooks is fit, who in their right mind is releasing Moses at the moment? No one.Take it with a grain of salt, but Kent said on 360 tonight that Brooks is a 0% chance of playing this week
That's a fair point actually. How good would he be to us then?
Playing devils advocate here. From the Tigers point of view wouldn't there be some sort of benefit to obtain any sort of return (financial or a player) for a bloke they have already lost? I mean that ensures they come out with at least something from a losing situation. Let's face it they can't win the comp with or without Moses, so losing him now or next year really doesn't make much of a difference.Seriously, if you're the Tigers and you're not sure Brooks is fit, who in their right mind is releasing Moses at the moment? With that said. I wouldn't be releasing him at all unless he was toxic or it was going to give the Tigers an actual shot of retaining Teddy or Woods.
Depends which end they stuck in and how far. We need his kicking game and all those extra arms would surely help his defenceHow good would he be to us then?
I really love Peni, but seeing him out for basically/probably the rest of the season, there's significant benefit in our halves gelling this season rather than next. That's at least worth a thought. Not sure if mentioned but 2SM were saying tigers want Peni in a trade with Moses.
Surely they won't be interested in a mid-season trade for Peni now.I really love Peni, but seeing him out for basically/probably the rest of the season, there's significant benefit in our halves gelling this season rather than next. That's at least worth a thought.
With that said, gee Peni is good value cap wise. Interesting at the very least.

Definitely less appealing now. But still they'd have the ability to upgrade his deal this season, and then extend him into the future (and it would also rule out Parra trying to re-sign him)Why would they want him now?
The Tigers should wait until they get an answer on Tedesco/Woods re-signing before creating cap space that might end up useless.Miatch unless Moses is formally realeased, the Tigers have don't have the luxury of offering Tedesco an upgrade for 2017, giving them greater leverage to re-sign him.
They have buckleys chance of making the eight anyway, and without Tedesco, they might as well start carving out spoons for the next decade.
There's only one option - realease him now .
