Police will allege Eels forward Kenny Edwards fled from officers on foot after he was pulled over for a random roadside check last month as the immediate playing future of the controversial enforcer once again hangs in the balance.

Edwards, 28, will face Fairfield Local Court on Tuesday after waiting almost a month to tell Parramatta officials of a summons to appear in court, where he is accused of abandoning a vehicle he was driving in Sydney's west on a suspended licence.

I cant think of one.

I reckon that it has come to the point where the club has the call on his future, but if they want him that’s what they’ll do.

This is hardly Todd Carney type offences. IIRC he was found not guilty on the intimidation charge, so you cant use that against him.

@Gronk No I'm pretty sure he was found guilty on the intimidation charge. And I'd say his indiscretions added up are pretty comparable to Todd Carney's.
