I thnk a lack of focus somewhere in the last 10 years has meant we have not had the number of quality 18 - 21 year olds coming through in order to have options to debut our juniors every year. This seems to have changed over the last little while and one would expect it to improve if there is a focus on local development.

Not just local development either. Reed Mahoney was signed to the dogs before coming here and a QLD junior. We've got a couple in our junior teams that are non-Parra district players. I'd still call them Eels juniors though.
