Ruck speed has little to do with mobility. If anything there is an inverse correlation. Bigger players are usually able to play the ball quicker, and bigger players also tend to be less mobile.

Bigger stronger players are less likely to be manipulated in the tackle and tend to fall on their fronts, hence a quick play the ball pau pau.

There is no biased left wing media.
I am sure there is. I'm just not across it. Locally maybe Getup! ?

@TheRam is right. The alternative option (and status quo) to Trump was far, far worse but he is but one man. He can't change a whole system. A man is only as good as his fellow man allows him to be.

Everything but Newscorp is fair and balanced in Australia. Murdoch is actually the devil reincarnated and is trying to brainwash everyone against the fair and balanced coverage of impartial journalists in Australia. People can't think for themselves and need to be told, except me and my mummy when we have our late night bottle of port together and watch Q&A in our jammies.

Assuming you're assertions are evidence based, what of late are indicators of left bias ? Meaning that they have not followed their charter and presented "both sides" ?

I'll wait.

I'm interested in examples because there has been much stated about alleged bias, mainly from the Murdoch media who are bitching that the ABC provide free content in opposition of their paywalled offerings.

AND before you LOL about me being in denial, I do think that they have had a left bias historically, however for the past half dozen years or so they have been trying hard to be objective and bipartisan.

That and the fact that he is not as good as he should be. One obvious point is the people he has chosen to appoint and surround himself with are 90% shocking appointments and that is all his own doing.

But overall you are right much better then the alternative.

The ABC isn't free, the taxpayer pays for it. And they use that money to compete commercially with ads and shit lifestyles shows and websites the taxpayer doesn't need to pay for, they actually drove the definitely left biased Fairfax out of business. I don't cheerlead for any mainstream media or any media at all, btw. I get what I need and put it through a filter in my refined mind.

Hahahahahahahaha...

Saying that you will try and actually DO are two totally different propositions mate. Give me one right wing commentator/presenter that has his own show on the ABC that pushes right wing agenda views.

Oh and by the way, just a reminder, I hate both camps.

And when they appear they are a guest stacked against left wing commentators, even politicians. Anyone with a brain can see it. I asked someone to do this once, couldn't think of any, and then exploded and raged that "they shouldn't be on because they are idiots".

I recall Gallen on that 100% Footy, Gus Lovefest, saying Homes is a winger and should stop thinking he will ever be a fullback. Hes never appeared to be a supporter of Valentine. The sad thing is this goose will be inflicted on us for years thanks to 9's ridiculous opinion of the boofhead.
I sorta had to like the bloke as NSW captain but f**k he is a trackhead of the highest order!!

That's not possible, though I understand. You have to have a position and philosophy as an independent, you just don't have to hop on the team bus. I am very similar, but you have to vote for someone.

Dunno if they are biased per se - but if one were to suggest the ABC 'represented left' that might be a pretty fair comment?

To suggest bias might mean they promote one ideology over another. By my observation they clearly do that, however it might not be in a way that constitutes technical bias!

(Why did I just comment on this?!?

I think that's how they explain it, anyway

A follow up @TheRam , I understand some people are left wing on some issues, right on others, center on others and libertarian on others. That is how I operate, with reason and logic. Not "brainwashing" as Gronk puts it.

No I think you don't get it, I really don't like any of the main parties. None of them represent us really.

What I stand for but sadly does not exist anymore is the now defunct Australian Sovereignty Party, which had the best policy platform any party anywhere in the world that I have seen and I have looked . But to few people knew of it and now it is gone.

Their old site link is here http://sovereigntyparty.info/

Do yourself a favour if you are interested in such things and take a look. As to good to be true as their policies sound, they are all backed by the soundest of economic principles, based on the greatest economist of the 20th Century, Irving Fisher, who has all but been erased from the history books, as apposed to the hugely flawed economic models that we have been forced to implement since over 100 years ago. They offer us Keynes vs Hayek. What a Joke on us.

Just a teaser, all taxes to be abolished including income tax, and only one 2% tax to replace all of them.

And that I dare suggest if people took off their red pants or blue pants would be how the majority of us would actually freely think. That's why this party politics crap just doesn't work and only servers big business and the pollies.
