I'm just out of shot and retrieved the ball. It went over the black dot.
On Brown he describes himself as a reluctant kicker. When I've seen him kick he always gets it close. With some work he would probably be an 80% guy

He’d be disappointed he’s just shy of the magical figure, 85 %!

Was it a hooked shot a la Thurston? Because with that kicking style he certainly shouldn’t be trying to kick straight

I'm suprised people give up on Taka.
In 2017 he was a big part of why we made the top 4. He is a firey guy. There where moments in matches that we looked to have lost momentum. Taka would provide an inspirational charge or hit. He would be vocal amd fire team mates up. And KE often followed with a chrage which helped swing the momentum back our way.
Problem with stats is they don't show this up at end of games. Whay guys like Mannah and Alvaro stats look better then perhaps a guy like Jnrs or even Terepos.

Taka is 108kgs. Along with Semi and Auvau they provided plenty of grunt in the back 3. And MJ is not a small boy. When BA lost Semi I was left scratching my head that he moved Taka from centres and Auvau from wing and replaced them with more skillfull players. It was imo a huge flaw in coaching ability. We essentially had 3 forwards in our backline taken out. These 3 guys played a big role in our smaller more mobile pack. A fast skillfull backline only works if you have dominant forwards who can skittle the defense. South sydney are a good example.
The Roosters who have a fast mobile pack have huge backs with plenty of grunt. It balances the team.

We do have a bigger pack now so bigger backs are needed as much. But Taka wouldn't be a terrible option on bench. He can provide some impact in the 2nd row running at tired forwards and can cover centre or 5/8. People who think he isn't an NRL level player have rocks in head. He would be in my 17

Taka will get game time this year. There will be injuries and we will need to call upon our depth.

He has NRL level attack, NRL level size and is likely a very good team guy but he would need the world's largest, novelty over-sized, needle-nose pliers to remove the thumb he has lodged firmly in his back passage to be an overall NRL level player

These days Taka wouldn’t make any other starting side in the competition. Sadly if he makes ours it shows a lack of depth on our behalf, or that we have been riddled with injuries, in which case it’s understandable.

Lol Auva'a's runs were softer than Darcy Lussick's runs

WOW....In general his charges where better then Semi. I am not talking about the magic Semi provided , I am talking about the hit ups like a pig. Auvau was excellent at a straight ahead run as hard as you can charge. No sideways or pulling up.

Auvau just had a few weaknesses in his game. People thinking Salmon will be superior to this guy or Taka in centres might be shocked. I am not suggesting he wont be but these two had a lot more grunt then Salmon. Salmon may have more spark, speed and skill we hope.

False. He is better then plenty who make the bench for other sides. And maybe as good as some starting 2nd rowers.

England international forward George Burgess has reportedly approached former coach Anthony Siebold about joining Brisbane Broncos from current side South Sydney Rabbitohs.

Burgess’ reach out to the Broncos is in a bid to alleviate salary cap pressure on the Rabbitohs, according to Channel 7.

The Broncos will probably need to move out a big-name player in order to fit Burgess in under their salary cap making the signing unlikely.

Even more unlikely when you consider George’s twin brother Tom signed a new deal up to 2023 with the Bunnies only yesterday.

George is off contract at the end of the year and reportedly snubbed an approach by Parramatta Eels earlier in the offseason.
