12/32 teams play final.
If your team loses the first 4 games they are about 5% of playing finals in NFL.
As much as NRL want less dead rubbers it will create too many meaningless NRL games. And what is even the point of giving a team with a losing records ANY CHANCE to win title.
Inagine the team who finished 10th did win it.
Id rather a top 6. First 2 teams have BYE and every games a knock out.
