NRL trying to get as much of the TV money as they can.

Bennetts idea is probably the way to go. Even for 3 or 4 weeks if it buys enough time. Because that's what we're doing buying time until a vaccine is developed. I feel.

Gonna be a fun next 12 - 18 months.

I totally agree with you. I couldn’t give a f**k what they do as it is obvious there is no leadership in the joint.

Didn’t watch one game other than ours and woke up this morning not knowing the result of the Tigers/Dragons game.

When Cam Smith come out and started making statements I was turned off. Who the f**k does he think he is my telling the NRL to shut down.

They will play this weekends round let the Warriors go home postpone the comp for a month while the Warriors isolate then have them come back here with family ect..

The goal posts keep moving every second day with how the world is dealing with this .... they can only just react to each change

I expect them to be proactive and see what every other sporting body in the world is doing and postpone the season. But they can’t because essentially they are broke.

Yeah look it would be lovely if we were as rich as the NBA or the EPL....

well they aint broke as yet but they still have to pay out to the clubs to pay players wages etc and they make most of their money on the TV rights so they want to play to a closed stadium so they can be feasible

if they stop playing they lose their TV rights income but the players are under contract so they still have to be paid, this is why they want to keep playing the games even if its to empty stadiums

well they aint broke as yet but they still have to pay out to the clubs to pay players wages etc and they make most of their money on the TV rights so they want to play to a closed stadium so they can be feasible

if they stop playing they lose their TV rights income but the players are under contract so they still have to be paid, this is why they want to keep playing the games even if its to empty stadiums
