We haven’t lost back to back games all season, and we’ve never lost back to back games at Commbank/Bankwest so we’ll either beat Penrith or buck our trend.

results this weekend have favoured us so far with Manly losing. Would be nice for storm to do us a favour and beat Souths (surely they won’t lose 4 in a row… that would have to be close to their biggest slump in Bellamy’s tenure).

Losing to Penrith next week also won’t be terminal, provided roosters beat manly and sharks account for Souths. If that happens, we’ll be in the same position we were going into this round despite back for back losses.

the key is the manly game. That is must win. We lose that and it’s over. Bulldogs goes without saying that we have to win. That should be enough. Bellamy will rest a bucketload in the final round of their finals spot is guaranteed which it should be.

Storm will struggle to make top 4. They'll need to beat us in the last rnd I reckon.
Souths are on a roll. They will be there.
Canberra could go on a run but also loose an easy game.

Roosters are the ones to watch

I ended up with similar .... with 5th, 6th, 7th 8th all on 30 pts .... so i guess that means we all finish 5th

Also - what does El-Zakhem have to do to get a First Grade gig?

In 2022, he's averaging :

14 hitups per game
135m per game
30 tackles per game at 95% efficiency
57 post-contact metres per game
6 linebreaks in 15 games
39 tackle breaks in 15 games

And he has scored 6 tries in 15 games
He was my tip to be first rookie to get a run this year. I note that there have been nil rookies selected to debut this year so hes still a chance I suppose. A good specimen and never stops. My logic was that with Ice, Stone, Marata, Oregon and now Nrown leaving, BA would have to get game time into some potential replacements. Obviously not.

I had the roosters in 6th ... beating bunnies to knock them out

I actually think we have a chance to beat penrith ... its just the kind of whacked shit we somehow do

Yeah we do. I feel Penrith may want to make a statement but and not let us do the double on them. Like they may treat it as a finals game. If so we most likely will get smacked.

If I had to commit to something, I think we'll go WLWLWL for the final 6 rounds, but if I could have a back up I think we'll go LWLWLW.

Outside of this week coming I'm not sure it matters who the opponent is week to week going forward.

If we go WLWLWL for the final 6 games, I can see us going WL in the finals and out week 2. If we go LWLWLW, I can see us going out first week.

Who was the club CEO who took the extraordinary step of fronting players about their on-field performances? Obviously ignoring the demarcation line between the front office and the football department, the CEO pulled in the entire team to put them on notice following a recent loss. We are told it was one hell of a spray. Akin to Phil Gould taking over Trent Barrett’s training session at the Bulldogs this year It may spell the end for the coach in question.

Which high-profile player is odds-on to leave his club despite having a year to go on his deal? The player severed ties with his manager last week and hired another after being promised a new, better deal at another club.

There's no way in the world the corporate management wizard, who specialises in corporate restructures, CEO of ours, tore strips of our players.

Our senior players simply would've laughed at him and left the room.

MON maybe, but the CEO Zero Chance.

Interesting to know which team it is though.

Looking at our club, the only person that could really apply to would be Dyl. And if he quit, I reckon it would be the undoing of BA, MON and the CEO

Yeah, would be difficult for Moses to change managers. It could be the undoing of the entire Moses family.
