Barrett!
Im not against it. Obviously replacing Murph. Maybe Maguire will be our D coach?Hopefully BA appreciates their input and implements same. Fingers crossed.
I suspect this is BAs choice but my spider senses tell me change was directed and if thats the case Im pleased.
I read an article today that McGuire has no intention on being an assistant. I'd say he'll stick with the Kiwi job and/or go back to the UK if nothing comes up.

Most head coaches select their own assistants mate so it makes sense that BA would be heavily involved in the Barrett recruitment. If BA doesnt have a job on 1st November, I am guessing Barrett doesnt either unless the BA replacement wants to keep him.
Or unless Barrett becomes the BA replacement....

csi miami deal with it GIF

Because the new coach always brings his own staff, well that’s what the well resourced clubs do. So you are right we will probably keep him because we are a small broke arse club.
Lay off the hyperbole mate. Just because you're pissy about us being a mid-tier club doesn't mean you have to pretend we're down with the Tigers or Titans.

So was Burton lured to Canterbury by Barrett or buck$?? Maybe we should be having a word with his mgmt... He hasn't exercised his player option for 2024 yet right?? Burton and Brown halves would be sweet.....

How many clubs can afford two big money halves? Manly couldn't back when Foran was still a star.

On a positive note, last year the dogs were scoring more points then us, at the back end of the season.

or was it the year before?

Every time I hear Barret's name I can't stop laughing at the time he was with St George and playing us. He took a swipe at PJ Marsh and all his mates rushed in. Our fullback picked up the ball, ran the length of field and scored under the posts while the dragqueens were still blueing. f*ck that was funny.

I wouldn't have thought Burton would cost as much as Moses will come 2024.... Unless you're inferring Drown is going to end up surpassing both their salary's come 2024 by a considerable amount, maybe double, and therefore if we end up keeping Drown we'll have to be looking at a bit-part honest trier to partner him in the halves, someone who is a great trainer but maybe back-up level talent at best.... Someone who lives close by would be a bonus.... Wouldn't that be handy....
