I said this last year and feel the same. We probably are looking at a mini rebuild. Nothing wrong with that. Unfortunatelyour peak squad come up against basicaly a brilliant football team. We where probably good enough to beat plenty of previous winners in the last 10yrs. How many y of those winners beat the 2022 Panthers side? I'd say not many if any.. If our caps in order and we have our spine sorted along with quality props and a lock forward we don't need to add heaps.
Much worse if you have a garbage spine and need to build. And better we have an average season then buying the wrong players. It may not even be a case of buying. Perhaps we are just waiting for a few kids to develop for 2025.

I personally don't think there is much in Nsw cup or Flegg. Maybe a couple of players that may make it. Brazal,Moreti,Mataele, Betham have a bit of potential. But I'd say the better ones are still in SG BALL. Just a matter of waiting I guess.

Might even be smart to not bolster the squad this season and upgrade guys with money spare to improve our cap down the track.

I'll be honest, I'm a point now where the advertisement setup on this site has now become out of control. It is crashing apps, ads popping over over text I'm trying to read, it is getting in the way of being able to actually use the site effectively.

I think I'm at the point of just about giving it away.

PS - I've tried to edit this post three times, it just keeps f**king freezing and I can't doing anything without refreshing the page.

A genuine premiership contender is one that finishes top four in consecutive seasons. We haven’t done that since the late 90s.
