Never rated him previously when at dragons but he has been pretty good this and last year.
Definitely better than the others in reserve grade. Him and Wiremu would make a good combo off the bench

It’s working well so far. We have conceded 26 points a game with Davey to teams who weren’t in the top 8 at the time. And lost both.

You can’t discount the fact we signed them when complaining we haven’t signed a big name since them. Unless your plan is to sign each big name to short contracts and flip them at the end? If you’re complaint was we hadn’t signed a big name since Corey Norman I’d agree but that’s demonstrably not the case

I'm sure the motivation was correct and I am not opposed to Davey in general in the squad - but there may have been better options to play large minutes against the Titans and Raiders.

Most of them are still at the club ffs. They were expensive then and they’re expensive now. Meanwhile some other bargain basement merkins have become expensive.

Outside backs aren’t expensive unless they are guns. Jennings had played 15 Origins when we signed him. How many had Blake and Simonsson played?
