Unfortunately, Gurr left and the main driver for the position seemed to be academic qualifications rather than real experience as a HOF and recruitment expertise. Can we expect things to improve given there’s a different coach, the jury is out on that, the signings and extensions pre Xmas will be crucial.

Sam Tuivaiti, Jock Brazel, Jezaiah Funa-iuta, Lachlan Coinakis, Tyson Sangalang and Lincoln Fletcher are all still with the club or were last I had heard??

We did lose Ryda Talagi or have been reported to have lost him after he followed his brother.

I’m always suspicious when players, especially youngsters, make excuses for chasing the money. What did the club do to these princesses?

Well we must be doing something right if Penrith have to overlook their own juniors. How do you stop the flow to the three peats ? So tempting for the kids vs spoonbowlers.

That’s because it takes so much to be successful. When you narrow the focus to look for scapegoats you’re ignoring most of what makes some clubs more successful than others.

True but that doesn't mean that we as fans on a football forum we can't speculate on the nuances. Be it the coach, the HOF, recruitment, development, contracts, terrible white jerseys.

Yes there is a lot of factors at play but I imagine 95% of posters on this forum get that even if they just wanna throw shit at BA 24/7

The common theme is all these losses in juniors, seems to be an inability to sell their pathway in the club, been true for a while unfortunately.

Not sure I would agree with that sentiment given we have already lost Sanders, Talagi and Arthur. As a development club its a poor look if this is indeed correct.

Letting him go is obviously mutual, so a payout isn’t unreasonable. But yes, if there’s room in this year’s cap it would certainly be beneficial. It’s dead space otherwise.
