Who comes from Bathurst specifically?I reckon the ROI on country NSW is great. Everyone is doing it. Half of Penrith’s players come from there ffs

Harry had a MO. Which is moot, cos of course Storm would have said yes to their side.Melbourne Storm captain Harry Grant (player #188) has taken up his player option to stay at Melbourne Storm until the end of the 2026 NRL season.
Grant confirms option to play 2026

Harry must have taken a paycut otherwise why would he activated his PO when he could have gouged Melbourne for more $$$$ in 9 days time.
I notice its still been pretty quiet on Dylan Brown if he is taking up for 2026.
You're the one who specifically referenced Bathurst. Pou mentioned country NSW, where a shit-ton of players come from, including current Kangaroo captain Yeo and CC medalist Martin.Who comes from Bathurst specifically?
I agree. Bathurst and “Country NSW” are not the exact same thing though. Just like Parramatta and Western Sydney aren’t the exact same thing. You're the one who specifically referenced Bathurst. I know. Why do you keep mentioning Bathurst?I agree. Bathurst and “Country NSW” are not the exact same thing though. Just like Parramatta and Western Sydney aren’t the exact same thing.
I don’t think players from the central tablelands are going to care too much which city hosts Panthers games.Who comes from Bathurst specifically?
Most of our juniors don’t come from Parramatta though. They come from Western Sydney.I agree. Bathurst and “Country NSW” are not the exact same thing though. Just like Parramatta and Western Sydney aren’t the exact same thing.
Harry Grant and Tyran Wishart have a player options.
Please explain how its gone from a PO to all of sudden a MOHarry had a MO. Which is moot, cos of course Storm would have said yes to their side.
Options can contain rachet clauses in them, so don't assume that prices are fixed throughout the contract term.
The ROI on Bathurst might not be that great. Why are the Panthers doing it and nobody else? Rich+desperate might be the reason.
Please explain how its gone from a PO to all of sudden a MO
As you were telling us many moons ago Grant had a PO.
Nothing to do with anything Mutual is was all in Harry's favour.
Just like the countless ones we have on the books
Panthers CEO said the don't have any talent scouts in NZ..
He also said they have a good program out west and souff west I assume he was talking about Martin and Edwards areas.
Tax deductible HolidaysThe ROI on Fiji might not be that great. Why are the Dogs doing it and nobody else? Rich+desperate might be the reason.
Should probably look further than Concord & Lumeah thoughAbsolutely. And of course we are scouting outside our local area, just like every other NRL club.
Melbourne’s cap might be tight and Harry might give a f**k
Should probably look further than Concord & Lumeah though
pfffft Who cares....*Leumeah.
NRL.com recently changed it from PO to MO on their site, proving they don’t actually know. If you go back through the Squad Succession thread you’ll see that it has been updated for our players in the past as well. Goes to show it’s not worth pissing your knickers over what you think our club or any other club is doing. Please explain how its gone from a PO to all of sudden a MO

Why wouldn’t they? It’s a bargaining chip. Why rule them out?Panfers no Options Grants option is now gone I can assume the won't add an option next contract either

A great podcast, he's doing some good stuff Graham. I don't mind those round table discussions either.
