JAC is a shocking acquisition—a massive liability especially with image. Since we've apparently dropped our 'No Dickheads Policy,' we might as well go after Terrell May. His brother can join too. Why not throw Corey Norman into the mix for motivation?

However, I disagree with your assessment of Ryles being on par with BA before they started their NRL coaching careers. There's no contest there—Ryles has both pedigree and articulation. As for BA, the less said, the better. He sponged off us for far too long.

JAC is JR’s Fergo. Agree his image is shite so hopefully we get him cheap with a ‘no second chance’ policy, and he grows up.
At least Ryles played the game at the highest levels, unlike BA.
Everyone seems to forget (or doesn’t mention) that JR is also walking into the role with Nathan Brown who will help with coaching and building the squad. He might be a rookie but he’s got a very experienced coach next to him.
BA had Murph ffs.
I feel better about this coaching set up than anything we had in the last 11 years.

Well Brent Read is speculating as much as any of the rest of us. Unless Addo-Carr's manager has sent him a copy of the contract showing the actual figures then it's just as feasible we gave him what he was on at the Dogs and who knows, maybe a bump on top... (not that kind of bump ffs). I mean, he hasn't even been confirmed as signed so talking about amounts is moot.

We can't have it both ways and put shit on media reports when we feel they are inflating our player's contract amounts but then turn around and point to the same media merkins when they post figures we deem favourable and take their word as gospel...

This is one of the only times I believe you guys when you say you paid unders. I dont think there was much of a bidding war for JAC.

You are seemingly mistaken about your “humour” being toxic - I never mentioned anything about that.

Firstly, most of the forum became dull, boring and repetitive much like this whole conversation really - you weren’t the only one so please don’t feel this makes you special. As a moderator at the time, I grew tired and took a long break. Probably not long enough by the looks of it but I digress.

A lot of people also went out, found a life besides the forum and did something with it and didn’t base their whole personality on hiding behind some childish nickname on a forum thinking they were being funny.

There are some people on here that actually can contribute to the forum and engage in good conversation and have some sound arguments. Thing is you aren’t one of them….. your biggest contribution other than your post count is your ability to fill a hole that probably didn’t need to be filled
