Bellamy wants to play the role for Daley.

That Wayne Bennett did for Steve Kearney for the Kiwis in the 2008 world cup.

The only difference being I don't understand is why doesn't Bellamy just take the role again. He clearly has something to prove after failing last time. Is he too scared to be the face for another origin disaster worried it will affect his legacy.

If he wants to be considered in Bennett's class he has to win an origin series as coach.

Paul Vautin retired from the media over the weekend.

Outside of being a full on bias QLD commentator at origin and a Manly Premiership winning captain.

He seemed like an alright bloke that just stayed true to himself on the TV coverage wasn't fake or plastic like some of the nitwits around in the NRL media today. And truly didn't care if he looked like a fool or stuffed up.

I suppose you have to respect that.

He and sterlo paved the way for the new generation coming through when it came to retiring straight into a full-time media role.

They’ve said he’s an a-grade tosser.

He nabbed a great catch in a celebrity one day match once.

One of this famous lines from the Footy Show was “I got nothin” when he was in a hole and I think that pretty much describes his media career. Good on him for surviving. I am sure he is shocked that it went that long.
