Pity he forgot about his legs. He’s fit, but he’s not ‘Josh Hodgson’s preseason biceps’ fit.

If Iongi doesn't progress we have Joash Papalii who is also a potential gun at fullback. Although I doubt Iongi will fail and maybe Joash plays at centre. A backline of:2026 with Ryles and the team more settled hopefully Iongi kicks on in a few years.
Moses has not had a really decent team around him yet. Yes had good forwards but our backline has been average but that has changed this year. We now have speed and potentially acquired 2 really good first grade players in Papalii and Iongi. Time will tell on them. And have our forwards regressed that much? We've only lost Reg and again potentially have good juniors coming thru and with new defensive structures will improve. If only it was that simple we wouldn't be in a premiership drought.
Yeah you need a lot of luck to finish top 4.
Sometimes playing certain sides at a moment in the season where there more vulnerable on top of a small injury list throughout the season.
I think you can win comps with 1 average spine member but you still need more quality around them to cover it.
Since 2005 - Sam Verrills and Mitch Kenny are the only two premiership winning starting dummy halves on GF day that haven't played origin or test football for Australia/NZ/England in there careers.
Some of those premiership winning dummy halves may have been fortunate to get rep jerseys at some stage of there careers.
But Kenny is surrounded by the greatest team of the modern era & Verrills had Jake Friend on the bench and 12 internationals around them.
In terms of Goats let me know when we find one - Moses certainly isn't.
His finals record is 4/12 and yeah it hasn't been tested again since he has dominated Origin & played for Australia this year.
But you could say he still has a few questions to answer in the big games when the heat is on and the game is tight.
Lomax taking over the goal kicking and being an extra option when it comes to FG's in tight games will help Moses immensely in tight games as it will give him a chop out in those little moments to focus on other things and relieve some of the burden he has to carry.
*bobsWell the world is changed now. Being gay is normal, gay marriage is normal, what would Trent the Pilot do now for people?
I remember Fatty asked one of the RLW Women(Aus Rep btw) live on TV - "What you do about the boobs?", clarifying how they tackle, or take hit ups with boobs. It was stupid but it was nearly 20 years ago.
I am saying Boobs here but he used another word, bazookas or kahoonas or something. I can't remember the word anymore.
Ive heard that they are sliders, in and outersso whats the new defensive structure, r we up and in or sliders
so whats the new defensive structure, r we up and in or sliders
No, that's OUR South Asian word, get your own! Bobs and Vegana FTW!*bobs
Yep. Slide when not defending your line. Up and in on your line.We should be both, depending on where we are on the field and how the team we are defending against is choosing to attack.
Transfer battle for Leo Thompson gains a new player
He is yet to confirm his future beyond next season.www.zerotackle.com
so whats the new defensive structure, r we up and in or sliders
He’d probably want double, pass.so he caught the eye of Ryles ? handy player @$350K but expect he will want more now
A lot more and he is not top tier yet.so he caught the eye of Ryles ? handy player @$350K but expect he will want more now
But also stay on your man ffsYep. Slide when not defending your line. Up and in on your line.
*as a general rule.
*InBut also stay on your man ffs
Take it to the pride thread merkin...
Yep, dead giveaway it was written by AI.Probably close to the mark imo for us.
I think were finals potential but just a front rower and dummy half short to challenge for a premiership.

I think 2026-2028 is a real premiership shot while Moses.
Interesting though comments about other teams.
I couldn't stop laughing at this one for the Sharks.
All said, it means the Sharks are getting closer to the club’s second premiership in history with every minute Hynes plays
Every minute Nicho plays there further away
I thought the teams around him from 2020-2022 were pretty good. He’s alot more mature now compared to then though. I don’t think the Moses of those years does what he did in origin this year.Moses has not had a really decent team around him yet. Yes had good forwards but our backline has been average but that has changed this year. We now have speed and potentially acquired 2 really good first grade players in Papalii and Iongi. I still think we'll make the 8 but lack of experience will cost us a top 4 spot but 2026 is when we'll open our premiership window.

As per post above i reckon our team between 2020-2022 was good enough to win a comp.Moses has not had a really decent team around him yet.
