Ah. the good old days of watching Fergo race infield in defense and get nothing but thin air.
According to the TCT guys we aren’t doing traditional (“straight line”) conditioning work this year, or noticeably less. It’s more fitness developed in footy based scenarios, which on the surface sounds pretty logical and makes me wonder what the advantage of both approaches are.
IMO Kit was one of our brightest junior stars and I was really devastated when Dogs pinched him from us. Turns out we let him go because of lack of commitment to training/fitness etc. Ive followed him at Dogs because he was one of my favourites and expected him to make it. He had some early injuries at Dogs but still never kicked on. I half suspected we might pick him back up for a discount prices but obviously not.
R - Very promising junior, expected him to kick on, questions around commitment. Needs to work on it.
