It wouldn't be the first time a player left for greener pastures, but given how the club has stuck by Dylan through all his dumb shit, I'd be disappointed if he didn't show some loyalty back to the club, by staying.

Why are these "journalists" allowed to post an article stating something, and extrapolate a conclusion without evidence?

The article claims that Brown informed the Eels that he is looking for a new home - when, in fact, the same article goes on to say that Brown's management has reached out to other clubs to see if they are interested.

It's scummy behaviour, tbh.

I can't recall his contract extensions ever being dragged out and through the media before (at least not to the Gutherson and Moses levels).

But I would say the club stuck by him at his lowest points - he could show some appreciation for it, imo.

But, if he goes, he goes - super talent, but we've won nothing with him here.

Depends if they are still investing as heavily in their pathways. Judging by the performance of their junior rep teams they might not be.

From the players I know in the junior reps, the Panfers played no more up in age than any other club. May not mean much but dont think there’s any need to make excuses , just represents the standards coming though and mostly it’s cyclical as younger age group are mostly made up of local league boys and it happens.

Maybe your right. I doubt they splash on Blaize and Papali'i if didn't have to. They obviously don't rate there forwards they have coming thru or J.Cole.

I think with Blaize they had a chunk of cap space free and saw an opportunity. Same with Ice and JFH leaving.

Blaize had a good conversion rate of about a try per game and he has a good step, but he lacked a bit of pace for mine and plenty has been said about his defense.

I much prefer Dylbro and hope he stays and repays us

Not sure many would agree with your comment re Blaize, he’s not even in the same post code as Laui, he’s not as quick across the ground, has nothing in the passing game and defends much worse.He is a hole runner and will need an enormous amount of work to be close to Luai and what he offered particularly when Cleary was out.

Blaze isn't anywhere near Luai quality. Needs another year in cup to work on his game.
