Well the merkin is 22 this year, you'd f**king hope he was good enough for the top 30.
Age has nothing to do with it.
He was good enough last year but wasn't played because of other agendas.
From all reports, videos and feedback I've also received he is and will be better than the bloke who was fortunate to play 1st grade last year, but had a dummy spit because daddy was told ur no longer required....

So Penrith can’t buy players from other teams now. Penrith need a few outsiders every now and then because other teams who can’t produce their own local talent poach Penrith’s. It’s how it rolls.
Penrith can buy players again only after you finally cop your first feel, I hope your junior ranks remain strong or it could be back to mediocrity………….

In a lot of junior sports sometimes its not how good you are but who you know can lead to how far you can get in reps leading into Professional career.

Its not a shit code. There is money available for the top of the pile. Not convinced that DB is at that level though. He needs the support of a dominant half and therefore has to accept that he isn't on stupid money.

Compared to Moses at the same age, Dylan's stats are very close. Brown vs Moses. Tries 31 vs 22. Try assists 63 vs 60. Tackle efficiency best/worst 95.72/89.42 vs 83.56/70. Where Dylan losing in his kicking game he makes up in the defensive side of the game. Dylan has played 8 more games at 123 vs 115.

Moses also played a few games at fullback which skews this data differently but that was only 6 games so I think there's a large enough sample size of games in the halves that it's worthy of comparison. At the same age Moses was coming off a wooden spoon season, had allegedly been told he can look for another club and didn't lose the "downhill skier" tag for a few more seasons.

Hopefully we have a strong enough forward pack that dominates so both of our elite halves can show their attacking flair.

I think that's bullshit. There are so few junior rep players with NRL potential that the ones who have it will never be held back by the ones who don't. I'm sure there are plenty of nuffies who are good at junior rep level that are held back by other nuffies who are good at that level, but since they are both nuffies who won't become genuine NRL players, why does it matter?

You're essentially describing the same type of situation as Nathan Davis getting cock blocked by Connor Broadhurst.

You've got more than you can use so what do you want to happen to them? Play park footy hoping one day for Cleary to give them the nod to play NRL.
