I like Moretti cos as King Gutho says, he brings energy. In the past I’ve found his handling frustrating, dropping the pill at critical times. Hopefully Ryles and Co can improve that. They obviously think they can.

I think that's probably where my view is coming from too.
Over the years we have seen it in Lane, Stone, Terepo, Doorey and Moretti and it is f**ken frustrating to watch the hard work done and then the chance ruined by an unforced dropped ball.

I'm going off final ladder position, after every team had a sample of a full season's worth of games to show their quality. This is why the ladder is irrelevant after half a dozen games.

Round 1 will have us under immediate pressure considering Melbourne have won their first round matches for the last 22 years. Let's be honest, who's going to predict an Eels win? I don't and we may even cop a flogging. I see round 2 as a litmus test on how we'll bounce back. Having said all that I can't remember when the Eels had their top 1-17 available to start a game and round one 2025 won't be any different.

I don't particularly want to get into a what's the difference between the two argument. But if a "6" has 55 possessions in a game whilst the "7" has 55 possessions which 16 of them lead to kicks. Is that what a "7" is?
