I remember when joey said he pointed out to dylan aspects of Cody walkers game and dylan had no idea who Cody walker was.......

He's had 6 seasons in first grade to build his game, I dont see it.

Like I said, very good first grader but 1.2 is reserved for elite players.
Dylan said in a midweek presser before the knights game last year in late June he didn't know we were coming last until someone asked him the question about it and he replied he had no idea we were last.

An airhead clown who lives in his own little world.

His another Corey Norman full of potential but no brains on how to use it.

lol he’s not worth 900k on what he has dished up the last two years, has half an ACL and been in trouble off the field.

If someone wants to blow their cap out on him good luck to them. He’s shown absolutely no loyalty to the club that has helped make him. Doubt JR will put up with this shit.
Yeah. Considering we've been ripped open for major heart surgery, may as well go for the triple bypass while we're at it.

I engaged in conversation with almost the entire South Sydney NRL team once at a function. I may or may not be still receiving therapy.

Dylan Brown is chasing a monster $1.2 million-a-season on the NRL’s open market as the Dolphins became one of five clubs to register interest in the Parramatta playmaker.
Brown is expected to begin formally meeting with rival clubs next week as he weighs up quitting the Eels.

The Kiwis Test star has an option in his eight-year Parramatta contract to depart the club at the end of this season.

With new coach Jason Ryles at the helm, the Eels are confident they will retain Brown on a deal believed to be worth in excess of $900,000-a-season.

However the 24-year-old is testing his value on the open market after receiving interest from the Warriors, Dragons, Knights and Dolphins. A rival Sydney club is also understood to be in the mix.

Brown is believed to be asking for up to $1.2 million-a-season to leave Parramatta – enormous money which would make him one of the NRL’s highest-paid players.

The Dolphins have cash to splash after missing out on the signature of Kangaroos star Ben Hunt, who opted for a return to the Brisbane Broncos after being released by the Dragons.

Whether the Dolphins would be willing to spend more than $1 million-a-year on Brown remains to be seen.

f**k I hope he goes. Seriously just f**k off.

Corey Norman was a better attacking player. Far more dangerous. Most of Dylan's runs look like hit ups not crafty moves which he does have. Norman has a nicer passing game and kicking. His runs where more dangerous but not necessarily better.
Dylan's defense however is elite. Cover defense also he is amazing.

If he signs elsewhere you can assume that he won't be taking up those POs

He won't sign elsewhere for 100- 150k extra. Thst wpuld be stupid. He has another 7yrs guaranteed insurance of close to 7 million dollars with us. He ain't risking that for a 3yr deal and making 450k extra. He would still need to chase 4yrs at a huge deal.
Smart person tests the water but stays with Parra. In 2yrs time if he goes up a level he will leave for his 1.2+ but he also my stagnate. If that's the case clubs wouldn't offer much more then 750k.

That's assuming he is smart.

I hope Dylan goes. He’s just above average as a player. I’m not angry white him shopping himself around. He’s fully entitled to do it because the absolute morons in charge agreed to those terms. They are the ones that should be sacked. Amateur hour.

Not to sound churlish… My heritage is Polish/Ukrainian (depending on pre/post WW2 borders, and only one generation back), Irish, Scottish, English, and quite possibly a smidgeon of French, if you go back far enough.
Each of those nations and cultures have offered plenty of value or produced people who did.
I could choose to be proud of any of them and likewise, link my identity to any of them but it has never occurred to me to do so because I’m Australian, first and foremost.
That, and I don’t have enough arms to wave that many flags.
We have a country, a culture, and a flag that’s ok to be proud of too. And it’s common to all of us.
Well what do you think of 40-30 rule?
That would be a good development?
Yes?

Agreed. Let us get a good 2025 out of him while he is "off contract" and then part ways. He doesn't have good leadership qualities and so on.

You've made that comment on a reply to a link to a crappy media outlet article that was posted here, which has no factual basis or proof at all.
I seriously thought you were smarter than that to believe such media crap.
Sometimes you just need to calm the f**k down and read the room.
Suity,

I’m not even comfortable with what we’re paying him now—that’s the part I can’t accept. He’s not a $900k player. And if you believe the article has no substance, I think you’re being naive.

Doubt anyone could afford to take him this year but could upgrade Volkman to 200k top 30 and then we are sitting on 700k to see who comes on to the market. Dylby is a good player but doesn't have the mindset to be a 1.2m a season player. Plus we are absorbing his ACL risk.
