Drown would look at least as good as Luai if he was playing at Penrith. Luai’s team is rarely behind on the scoreboard, so he isn’t expected to pull rabbits out of his arse nearly as often as the playmakers in strong defensive teams.

That’s if he gets it. I have my doubts that he will tbh. 1.2M buys you a better player than Brown is. Time will tell.

Long term contracts (certainly to that length anyway), make little to no sense. The game evolves too quickly.

saying that I really hope he goes. We are over paying and I can’t believe we are locked in with this overrated fraud for 10 years. He’s way to too inconsistent in his game for us to miss him. He’s a passenger.

I agree.

He's a great player, but I think we may be better off with another player, and look to build a culture around the club that is "club first".

He pulled out one when Cleary was injured. The same didn’t happen when Moses was injured and Brown was calling the shots. Franchise player ? No f**king chance. Another overrated peanut.

I don’t think he is a passenger - he really puts in on defense. He just isn’t all that good with the ball skills. He is a pretty good runner. An above average first grader. To me he has always been a player without a proper position. He would have probably been a good lock back when they were like a hybrid between a half and a forward.

He is a fullback who defends in the line. A bit niche, but Wighton got a Dally M doing the same thing.
