Because 12 games isn't a statistically relevant sample. Ricky Stuart's record in his first 12 finals matches was 75%. Is he really that good? It's a meaningless sample of games. Bellamy is 2 from 9 in Origin. If he coached another 3 Origin games he would be 5 from 12 at best. It's just not enough of a sample to even out the randomness of superior opposition, missing players, bad calls, and the bounce of the ball.

The spin doctor is at it again. SOO is a totally different beast to coaching the nrl, where Bellamy has months to years to coach his methods and build a club.

It took ba 10 years to build up to those 12 finals appearances, but the great pau thinks that that's too small a sample size. Maybe we should have gave him another 10 just to support pau paus nonsense statistics.

can we call a truce between both sides of the BA argument? Who gives a f**k now, we're in the Ryles era.
Mate this is LU, nothing is ever going to be forgotten. Most of us are all aboard the Ryles train and are excited to see what the team can do this season. And some people are still trying hug some greasy nuts all the way over in Leeds.

Number of years in the finals is statistically relevant (because there's at least 24 games in a year), but win rate in those games isn't, because there are so few of them.

I've defended Arthur because he did a good job here. I don't need to put shit on him to support Ryles.
He did initially do a good job but he overstayed his welcome by at least 3 years. In hindsight after 2018 was probably the year we should have sacked him. And please don’t include our 2022 GF appearance. We were easily the worst team to qualify for one in recent memory. Plenty of luck including a blatant forward pass missed in the preliminary final against the Cowboys, who were brutally robbed.

The safe and easy option would have been to include Brown in the leadership group.

The fact Brown has been overlooked speaks volumes not only about Ryles opinion of Brown (at this stage) but also Ryles as a coach and leader.
Should have been sacked from leadership group when committed digression last year

Round 6 2018, he was clueless and had no idea what had gone wrong. To think we wasted another 6 seasons on the bald fraud makes me want to vomit in my mouth.
