My little birds tell me that it will be called the Parra Eels Fan Alliance Group

Its a PR move from the club to show there connecting with the fanbase.

It won't affect or change anything from an operations point of view.

I assume it will be more down to what type of member events we want to see moving forward.

They have hand picked all the main podcasters and fans who are well known and think they have a voice in the fan group that may have outreach to other supporters.

I think it's a bit wrong though a few of them that have been selected were the same ones urging fans to protest at a home game by encouraging them to turn there back on the game and walk out shitcanning the club/board in the process on there media platforms but anyway each to there own.

options work on an option period, so if the period expires without exercise of option, then the latter contract does not have to be honoured after that date and can technically be renegotiated from scratch

What I meant was that he can wait as long as he likes to sign with someone, not to take up the option.
If his option lapses then he is still off contract and can wait until he’s 53 years old to sign with someone if he wants to.

Might not get much interest by then though.

Yep, if he was serious about the club and the fans he would have taken up his clause. The fact he is going to market and expecting a pay rise after the shit he has dished up the last two seasons says plenty about him. The dope is still running around with a partial ACL atm as well.
