Perhaps go thru all the season Brady played and see where he finished as far as TDs go, yards per throw, QBR rating compared to others.

As I said what made him good is he was clutch. He'd make the big throws on 3rd downs etc.

The problem with trials is guys not part of the top 17 will treat it differently then those who have a spot cemented.
Guys like Matterson are not going 100% in a trial. He knows how to get his body right but W.Latu or Tuivati would be using their time to showcase their skills.

He is coming back from shoulder surgery it was highly doubtful he would play round 1 he will be in cup until his fitness is up to NRL standard

He’s not ready for first grade and he didn’t even look interested in being there unless the ball was in his hands last season. Yeah, he scored a few tries and showed some flashes here and there, but 90% of the time was zero effort on defence and zero effort on offence. He may develop into something, but he was never worth us bending over backwards to try and accomodate him.
